Translation: Most of Africa all but disappears because of the immense shortage of physicians. For those of us in America it’s hard to imagine being without access to a doctor or hospital, but that’s the reality for so many people in the world. Maps and statistics like this burden us, and give us a vision for how important it is to join with the Ethiopian people in training more physicians, providing care, and offering hope. #31daysofcalling #lovesinethiopia
